Our philosophy at D'vine has always been to sustain the environment and utilise the fresh local produce of the surrounding area. We are lucky enough to be situated in the exquisite Cape winelands where vineyards and orchards are plentiful.
The menu at D'vine is not extensive, but rather simple, fresh and local.
Our lamb comes from the Karoo. We use sustainable game meat in our dishes and fresh fish is delivered daily from Gordon's Bay and the Strand area. Our cheeses come from local producer, Lourensford Cheesery and we only use freshly pressed olive oil from our neighbour, Morgenster Estate.
In terms of signature dishes, our fishcakes are hugely popular, as is the beautiful fillet steak our chef prepares.
The restaurant itself is situated in an old farm house and has a cosy, rustic charm. We have a lovely bar where you can enjoy pre-dinner drinks. In summer we serve lunch and breakfast in our beautiful outdoor area, while the Conservatory boasts an unobstructed view of the spectacular Helderberg Mountain Range.
Our wine list focuses on the surrounding vineyards and we serve only local, South African wines of superior quality. Our house wine is from Lourensford Wine Estate, situated next to Willowbrook Country House.
